About OcuCloud’s Services
The Services provided by the Company are intended for system security measures, by allowing you to monitor and record your authorized employees’ or other authorized person’s activities, on public infrastructure and applications in the cloud used by your entity. Additional services, including such provided for fees, may be provided in the future.
Please note that nowhere do we knowingly collect, keep or maintain personal information from children under the age of 18, as we require that all users represent to us that they are at least 18 years old.
Your IP Address
Upon your entry into our website and/or into the Services, we automatically collect your IP address, and certain data with respect to your computer and/or mobile device. In order to administer and optimize your view and use of the Services, and to diagnose problems with the Services and/or your viewing thereof, we use such data to help identify your device.
Cookies are part of the technology implemented by your browser. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to either notify you when you have received a cookie, or to refuse them all together.
We rely on cookies to preserve the identity (profile) you have created while logged on. If you set your browser to disable cookies, you may not be able to access certain areas on the website or the Services, or the website and the Services may not recognize you.
Data We Collect From You
The identifying information we collect about you includes your entity’s name, address, phone number, number of employees, the location of servers, contents thereof, and your password. Such information is necessary in order to enable us to provide you with the Services.
In addition, in order to operate the Services, and to provide you with products or services that may be of interest to you, and in order to enable you to benefit from the Services’ functions, we collect additional “personal information”.
Furthermore, we also collect “demographic information” (i.e. information that you submit, or that we collect, that is not personal information); this may include, but is not limited to, gender, age/birth date (or incorporation date), type of corporation, size, Services’ history information, searching history information, and registration history information.
When you use the Services, we may also collect your detailed location, for example in the form of GPS signals and other information sent by your mobile device.
OcuCloud may also collect information about all activities taken by your employees and/or other authorized users, including the timing thereof, the frequency thereof, the identity of the parties thereto, and any other information related thereto.
Currently, we do not collect credit/debit card information. Nevertheless, we maintain the right to do so in the future.
At this point in time, we use Stripe Payment Services a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our portal, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and automatically transfer it to them.
Stripe Payment Services shall hold and store that credit card information under its own policies and regulations.
OcuCloud reserves the right to replace its third party payment intermediary at any time in the future. In any such event, any payment you make shall be subject to such third party’s policies, terms and conditions, and OcuCloud shall assume no responsibility for such third party’s actions.
We take precautions (including technical and physical measures) to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your information, both during transmission and once we receive it.
Nonetheless, despite the security measures employed by OcuCloud, users should be aware that it is impossible to guarantee absolute security with respect to information sent through the internet, and/or stored on the “Cloud”. Therefore, we cannot guarantee your data’s absolute security.
How We Use Personal Information
We use your other personal information to help us efficiently operate the Services, to contact you in connection with your transactions and other activities on the Services. These types of communications are known as “Operational Communications”. In some cases, Operational Communications may also contain commercial messages, such as banner ads and special offers.
To operate the Services, including supporting your activities on the Services, we may send you certain promotional content, which may be based on the analysis of your personal information. Such personal information will not be shared by us with our affiliates, agents, representatives, contractors and service providers, but we may be asked by them to send certain promotions to certain users only, sorted by certain profiling data.
By purchasing, or registering or making reservations for, products or services offered or sponsored by third parties on the website and/or on the Services, or by electing to receive communications (such as emails or material by mail) or electing to participate in programs, offered or sponsored by third parties on the Services, you consent to our providing your personal information to those third parties. Those third parties may use your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies. You will need to contact those third parties to instruct them directly regarding your preferences for the use of your personal information by them. Additionally, you agree that we may use and disclose all such information so submitted to such third parties in the same manner in which we are entitled to use and disclose any other information you submit to us.
How We Use Demographic Data
Furthermore, we shall use all information provided to us for machine learning, in order to improve and optimize our algorithms, for the purpose of improving our services to all users.
Third Party Affiliates
To operate the Services, including supporting your activities on the Services, we may share your personal information with our affiliates, agents, representatives, contractors and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as email origination, receipt or support services, customer relationship management services, and order fulfillment. We require these entities not to use your information for any other purpose.
Special Cases in which we Share Personal Information
The Services have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computer networks which may be located outside of the state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction in which you reside, and the country or jurisdiction in which these computer networks are located may not have privacy laws as protective as the laws in your country or jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to transfer your information in the case of a sale, merger, consolidation, or acquisition of out company.
